March 14 calls for filing complaint against Syria before Security Council
March 14 urged the current government to file a complaint before the U.N. Security Council and the Arab League against the Syrian government for “destabilizing Lebanon and violating the country's sovereignty."

March 14 General Secretariat held its regular weekly meeting Wednesday at its headquarters in Ashrafieh, whereby a statement was issued at the end of the meeting.

The statement called for expelling the Syrian Ambassador from Lebanon – for what they view as his involvement in the “organization of sectarian strife as well as kidnapping plots.”

The statement called on the government to give clear commands to the Lebanese Army and Internal Security Forces to interfere and release the abductees and pursue the abductors regardless of political affiliations.

March 14 criticized the government which has so far “failed to control local security”, considering that the events overtaking Lebanon are a reflection of the collapsing regime in Syria.
