Hospitals Syndicate announces its failure to accept hospitalization approvals
Hospitals Syndicate Chief Suleiman Haroun said on Thursday that all official bodies have started applying the new tariffs starting from 01/08/2012 with the exception of the National Fund for Social Security.

Attendees of the emergency meeting held by the Syndicate of Hospitals in Lebanon, expressed shock at Cabinets decision to postpone the ratification of  the decision approved by the Board of Directors of Social Security, ministries of labor, public health and finance as well as the State Council.

Consequently the syndicate declared that hospitals will no longer approve social security patience with the exception of dialysis and chemotherapy patients as of 1/9/2012 unless Cabinet approves the decision of the Board of Directors before this date.

The participants demanded all official bodies to pay hospitals for the year of 2012, in addition to the dues of previous years.
