Director General of the National Social Security Fund Mohammad Karaki temporarily suspended the contracts of 7 physicians for one month starting 10/10/2019, based on investigations conducted the fund’s medical observer into cases referred from Sidon’s office. The investigations revealed that a number of physicians have violated the NSSF’s law and procedures.
The physicians that were suspended were identified as:
Dr. Neeman Yahya Mustafa (Pediatrician) – Warrant 64/2008
Dr. Mahmoud Amer Mohammad Haidar (Pediatrician) – Warrant 55/1993
Dr. Marwan Ahmad Kilo (Urologist) – Warrant 61/1992
Dr. Mohammad Salem Chamseddine (Tract Surgeon) – Warrant 88/2008
Dr. Maher Mohamoud Fadel (General Medicine) – Warrant 30/1991
Dr. Emile Nicolas Sleiman (Cardiologist) – Warrant 25/1995
Dr. Habib Khodor al-Sabeh Aiyan (Internal Medicine) – Warrant 12/1999
