Arrested BLOM Bank robbers lead to other links

Following the LAF's arrest of a member of the Zeaiter family for charges of robbing Mazraat Yachouh's BLOM Bank, investigations revealed that the gang was made up of 6 people. Security forces managed to arrest two of them, killing another during the chase.

BLOM Bank’s branch in Mazraat Yachouh was robbed by two gunmen on Thursday August 9, 2012. One gunman fired 4 shots at LAF Captain Rayan al-Jordi who happened to be at the site during the incident. The gunmen stole the money as well as the injured captain’s war pistol and fled on a motorcycle.
