A sharp increase in fuel prices

Fuel prices are on continuous rise. On Wednesday August 28, 2012, the 98-octane fuel increased by 1,000 LBP, 95-octane fuel increased by 1,100 LBP, diesel and fuel oil increased by 600 LBP. As for the price of kerosene, it increased by 700 LBP and the gas canister by 300 LBP.

Energy Ministry issued a table setting the prices of fuel as follows:

95-octane gasoline

36,400 LBP98-octane

Gasoline: 37,000 LBP

Diesel oil: 27,600 LBP

Gas-oil: 27,100 LBP

Gas canister: 18,900 LBP

Kerosene: 29,600 LBP
