Wissam Alaa el-Dine’s release is a mystery-New TV

After spending almost 60 days at the hospital, Wissam Alaa el-Dine, the man who had attacked New TV, paid a bail of 2 million LBP setting him free. Rejecting to inform media with any information, he walked around the streets of his neighborhood in Zqaq El-Blat where video-shooting is not allowed.        

On the 26th of July, Wissam lit tires in Wata el-Msaytbe due to what he viewed was the TV station’s approval to let an "incomplete person" insult religious figures claiming that he would have done the same thing if the Maronite Patriarch were the subject of insult.                 

Describing Wissam’s actions as over exaggerated, the head of public relations in New TV, Ibrahim Halabi, said that the television is proceeding with its lawsuits against all aggressors until further notice, adding that the release of Wissam remains a mystery.            

“The problem is not personal he continued adding that the station will not settle for a “Lebanese solution”.
