Introduction to the evening news 05-09-2012

Though the timing is inappropriate, the order of the alphabet brought Lebanon to lead the chairmanship of the Council of the Arab League.            

Adherence to the dissociation policy does not correspond neither to the final draft of the Cabinet's statement nor to the ambiance of the opening session of the Council of Arab Foreign Ministers.              

Egypt's President addressed in his speech the Syrian leadership saying: "the time of change has come; you will not last for long".              

The Syrian file and its implications on Lebanon also was the center point of the extensive consultative meeting held today at Meerab by March 14 forces who relayed responsibility on President Sleiman via a memorandum.            

Meanwhile, the cabinet seems incapable of meeting less complicated demands. The council of ministers, once again, postponed the approval of the series of ranks and salaries leaving the trade union coordinating body no choice but to hold a general strike tomorrow.        

The government that wasn't able to meet legitimate demands for teachers did not hesitate to meet the demands of monopolists; it renewed the contract of Middle East Airlines, forcing the compelled Lebanese people, traveling to earn a living, to bear the high costs until the very end of their trip.
