Fadel: Lebanon cannot fund the series of ranks and salaries

Lebanon First Bloc, MP Robert Fadel stressed on Friday that the Lebanese state cannot afford funding the ranks and salaries series even if it is the first time since 1996 that the private sector is repositioned for such a task.

Fadel and in an interview with Nharkom Said on LBCI lauded Lebanese President Michel Sleiman for "being the only person responsible throughout yesterday's cabinet session".

This according to Fadel is due to the President's ability to unlink the issue from electoral objectives since he would not be running as a candidate.
