Introduction to the evening news 21-09-2012

A simple salute to the Lebanese production; a sector whose producers are being offered inducements to leave to other sectors where profit is quicker and official facilities are available; a sector whose workers, both Lebanese and foreign, are facing tough living conditions.

In a world of ever-increasing competition, and in light of the global and local recession, the Lebanese production remains unprotected.

The Lebanese industry awaits the consumer trust in order to prevent the collapse of another economic sector after the crisis that befell the touristic season due to the security situation and the recent wave of abductions.

The security month began today to prove that kidnapping is not the only Lebanese product available in the Lebanese markets.

“Your industry is your identity, buy Lebanese products” is the slogan of the new advertising campaign launched to encourage the Lebanese industry.
