Sergeant wounded in routine procedure on Tabaris road

The National News Agency reported that during a routine passage of an embassy security apparatus patrol on the road Tabaris - Ring Bridge Monday morning, Sergeant F.A.K sustained gun-shot injuries to his waist after he drew his weapon from his waist launching a bullet by mistake. He was immediately rushed to hospital for treatment.

Beirut police launched an investigation into the incident with the patrol members.

The Sergeants testimony will be taken upon his recovery.
