Geagea during LF martyrs mass: Hezbollah’s weapons no longer justified

Lebanese Forces Leader Samir Geagea confirmed Saturday that Christians do not fear any party and will not bow down to anyone.

Geagea said, during the LF martyrs mass in Jounieh, that the minorities’ alliance, which some parties endorse, is an alliance of power, money and self-interest and seeks to turn the Christians into barricades to protect retarded regimes.

Geagea addressed those who fear radical regimes, asking: “What radical regime will be worse than the one that has ruled Lebanon for three decades and has broken the backs of Christians?”

Geagea considered that the presence of illegitimate arms in Lebanon is no longer justified for the equations behind their existence do not exist anymore.

In his concluding remarks, Geagea called on Hezbollah to make a bold decision by handing over its arms to the Lebanese state.
