Future bloc: We are calling for an electoral law based on smaller districts
The Future bloc stressed on Tuesday the necessity to ratify an electoral law that is “based on smaller districts and that eases the fears of all Lebanese sects”, adding that the electoral law must guarantee fair representation.

Following its weekly meeting, the bloc reiterated its condemnation of the attack launched against the “fake” convoy of Change and Reform bloc leader MP Michel Aoun, calling on the Judiciary to speed up investigations.

The bloc stressed its commitment to the Lebanese state’s sovereignty, condemning what it considered as “a gross violation to the state” in Jbeil’s villages, as well as assaults against a church in Kosta and peaceful young men in Majdelyoun.”

Separately, the bloc stressed the need to improve the salaries of public servants, warning against the current government's approach based on competitiveness, considering that “it lacks a reformist vision.” The bloc also warned against the danger of such decisions on public finances.
