Abu Abbas, Hezbollah’s slain Jihadi in Syria
Informed sources revealed to Saudi Daily "Al-Watan" that Ali Hussein Nassif nicknamed "Abu Abbas" who killed in an improvised Free Syrian Army bomb in the area of Al-Kassir, worked as a coordinator between the Syrian regime and Hezbollah.

According to the Daily, "Abu Abbas" was targeted whilst in the “midst of implementing his Jihadi duties” in the Kassir area in Homs, in an ambush by the Free Syrian Army. Nassif had been on board a convoy vehicle when a road side bomb exploded, killing him and other Hezbollah escorts.

"Abu Abbas" was known as one of “Hezbollah’s fiercest officials.” He was a member of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards since their entry into Lebanon in the mid-eighties.
