Arrest warrant issued against Hassan Qraitem

Judicial investigator into Beirut Port explosion, Judge Fadi Sawan issued on Tuesday an arrest warrant against Director General of Beirut Port Hassan Qraitem, and that after a four-hour interrogation session, in the presence of his lawyer Sakher al-Hashem.

This as Judge Sawan postponed the questioning of former Director General of Customs Chafic Merhi, after his legal attorney filed formal pleadings, and he is expected to resume his interrogation sessions on Wednesday with the remaining 21 detainees, according to the state-run National News Agency.
