Akar holds Beirut emergency room meeting
Caretaker Minister of Defense Zeina Akar visited on Friday Beirut municipality to follow up on the repercussions of the blast that rocked the city of Beirut.
She held a meeting for the emergency room, attended by Beirut Governor Marwan Abboud, head of the Advanced Emergency Room Major General Sami al-Howayek, representatives of Ministries of Public Works and Social Affairs, the Hugh relief Authority, the Lebanese Red Cross and the Civil Defense.
Talks focused on the works ongoing on the field, such as the survey of damages, aid distribution and coordination between all concerned parties.
