Safadi visits Karami: abstention doesn’t mean ceasing political work
A meeting was held on Saturday between at Karami residence between Former Prime Minister Omar Karami, Finance Minister Mohammad Safadi, his son Ahmad Safadi and Youth and Sports Minister Faisal Karami .

The four discussed Minister Safadi’s abstention from running for the upcoming parliamentary elections. Former PM Karami said that strong bonds relate the Karami and Safadi families, stressing that Minister Safadi plays a major role on the political scene.

For his part, Safadi said that he explained to Karami the reasons behind his abstention, emphasizing that they share the same point of views despite their political inclinations.

Safadi added that giving up a parliamentary seat doesn’t mean he will stop his political work.
