LAF: Roumieh prison is not subject to our authority in any way

The Army Command - Guidance Directorate said on Monday that Roumieh prison is not subject to the Lebanese Army's authority "in any way," stressing that the Military Courts did not arrest or interrogate any officers or soldiers in the case of Roumieh prison break.

The directorate added that the words “military” or “soldier” are strictly exclusive to the Lebanese Army, urging the media institutions to be very accurate while using these two terms and to exclude the military institution from any subject related to the security directorates.
