Cabinet convenes at the Grand Serail

Prime Minister Najib Mikati presides an ordinary cabinet session at the Grand Serail.

The cabinet's agenda includes 43 items and it is expected that the case of the Roumieh prison break will be discussed during the session.

Within this framework, Minister of Interior Marwan Charbel said to As-Safir daily that he will be asking the government to take necessary and appropriate measures regarding the case of Roumieh's prison break.

"The prisons' situation is shameful," he concluded.
