Future Movement comments on Bassil televised speech: The government is ready and awaits the president
The Future Movement issued on Sunday a statement in which it commented on the televised speech held earlier by Free Patriotic Movement leader MP Gebran Bassil.

In the statement, the movement said that “it will leave it to the Lebanese people to believe Bassil,” adding that “as a Movement, we will not engage in political bickering that do not bring the country Coronavirus vaccine, nor restore the economic activity to its right track, nor rebuild Beirut and compensate those affected by the port explosion.”

“The government is ready and awaits the president of the republic, to be a mission cabinet that undertakes the required reforms according to the French initiative and not according to Bassil-like sectarian, confessional and racist standards,” the statement added.

“This is what concerns us and nothing else is important, no matter how creative they were in creating obstacles and producing controversial issues," the statement went on by saying.
