Mahfoud: Syndicate Coordinating Committee calls off strike

Nehme Mahfoud, head of the Private Schools Teachers Association, said on Monday that the Syndicate Coordinating Committee has agreed on calling off the strike scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday.

Earlier, Mahfoud expressedIn a statement to LBCI, his surprise regarding the non-inclusion of the pay scale item in the agenda of Wednesday’s cabinet session, calling on the government to schedule a session to discuss this issue.

“Enough tension in the country,” he added.
