Army Command asks Achrafieh victims to present applications to concerned Mukhtars

The Army Command asked on Monday citizens whose possessions were affected by the explosion that took place in Achrafieh to ask the damage surveying committees working in the mentioned region for reports or to submit applications to concerned mukhtars in Sassine Square. Applications will remain open up until the 10th of November 2012.

On the 19th of October 2012 a massive explosion rocked a crowded Achrafieh neighborhood, killing Birg. Gen. Wissam Hassan, companion Sergeant Ahmad Sahyouni and citizen Georgette Sarkissian. The blast also caused severe damage to homes of residents in the area.
