Koteish attends his interrogation session

Television host Nadim Koteish arrived to the Central Criminal Investigations Department on Thursday at 10 am.

The interrogation session was presided by General Joseph el Helo.

Koteish’s hearing lasted for around an hour and he was later released on condition that he does not leave the country.

After the interrogation session, Koteish stressed that he doesn’t have any enemies in the judiciary body and that he attended the session today in a normal way, adding that the interrogation was descent.

“The legal complaint filed against me is political, and the party behind it is held accountable," Koteish said. “The political battle does not end here,” he added.

Earlier on Monday, the State Prosecutor Judge Hatem Madi referred the warrant against Koteish, who spoke during the funeral of Brig. Gen. Wissam Hassan last Sunday to the Criminal Investigations Department.

According to the complaint, Koteish had incited the protesters to storm the Grand Serail.
