March held towards Baabda Presidential Palace-[VIDEO]

The People's Observatory against Corruption organized on Saturday a march from the Chevrolet region towards the Baabda Presidential Palace, in a bid to press for the formation of "an independent transitional government from outside the ruling system with legislative powers."

The protesters chanted slogans against the ruling elite, calling for holding the corrupt leaders accountable.

They also raised banners calling for "justice regarding the Beirut port blast and for the perpetrators to be held accountable."

The protesters called on President Michel Aoun, Prime Minister-designate Saad Hariri and Speaker Nabih Berri to step down.
