Judge Madi refers al-Diyar to Criminal Investigations Court

Judicial Council Prosecutor Judge Hatem Madi referred on Friday Al-Diyar Newspaper to the Criminal Investigations Court, after publishing false information concerning the ongoing investigation in the case of assassination of Brig. Gen. Wissam Hassan and his companion.           

Judge Madi said that spreading false information could violate the safety of the investigation, stressing that it has been previously circulated that media outlets should refrain from publishing information related to judicial investigations.
