President Aoun discusses subsidies rationalization with economic and parliamentary delegation

President Michel Aoun met on Wednesday at the Baabda Presidential Palace a joint delegation representing the Economy, Trade, Industry, and Planning Parliamentary Committee and the Socioeconomic Council with talks focusing on the rationalization of subsidies.

During the meeting, Aoun received from the economic and parliamentary delegation a participatory paper that was agreed upon as an entry point to redirect subsidies.

Aoun also discussed with the delegation the implementation mechanism and the need to find quick solutions.
