The Director of Rafic Hariri University Hospital Dr. Firas Abiad stressed in a tweet on Friday that “supporting health workers, especially those who made supreme sacrifices to fight coronavirus, is necessary.”
He also noted, commenting on the joint committees’ adoption of a draft law submitted by the Order of Physicians and the Parliament’s Health Committee aiming to provide pensions and compensations to the health and hospital workers’ families, that it is commendable effort made by the Order and Committee.
