Sharp fall in gasoline prices

On Wednesday November 14, 2012 the price of 98 and 95-octane graded fuel decreased by 1,100 LBP, fuel oil by 500 LBP, diesel and kerosene by 600 LBP. In contrast, the price of a gas canister increased by 200 LBP.

The table issued by the Minister of Energy and Water Gibran Bassil set the price of oil derivatives as follows:                                     

- 95-octane graded gasoline: 33,000 LBP                                          

- 98-octane graded gasoline: 33,700 LBP                               

- Fuel oil: 27,100 LBP                                         

- Diesel: 27,300 LBP                                  

- Gas Canister: 20,600 LBP                                   

- Kerosene: 29,100 LBP
