Mikati meets with Grand Mufti Qabbani

PM Najib Mikati announced after meeting with the Grand Mufi Mohammad Rashid Qabbani that his visit aimed at wishing the mufti a blessed Hijri New Year, stressing that the two did not discuss any political issue.

For his part, Qabbani praised the Premiere and described him as an honorable man, adding that Mikati is being very cautious in preventing the further deterioration of the Lebanese situation.

Mufti Qabbani also suggested during his meeting with Mikati and the scholars to hold a meeting that will include all former prime ministers to discuss the Lebanese crisis.

Mikati agreed on participating in the meeting and the Mufti will be making the necessary calls with all the former PMs to bring it to light.
