Abiad tweets for first time after becoming health minister

Director of the Rafic Hariri University Hospital Firas Abiad tweeted on Saturday for the first time after assuming the health ministerial portfolio.

In his tweet, Abiad said “assuming responsibility in a time of crisis is a duty towards the country and society.”

“Health is everyone’s right and people care about what one will do to solve their problems, not what they did before," he added.

He concluded by thanking the Lebanese people for “their noble feelings that he had received," adding that he "appreciates each assistant for the performance of such a difficult task.”
