Defense Minister meets with UN Special Coordinator for Lebanon

Minister of Defense met on Thursday with UN Special Coordinator for Lebanon Joanna Wronecka as part of a protocol visit.

Talks reportedly tackled the role of the United Nations in helping Lebanon in various sectors, mainly aids to the military institution.

Talks also tackled the results of meetings held at the ambassadors level in an effort to complete the Paris conference held in support of the Lebanese army.

This as both officials stressed importance of enhancing the bilateral cooperation.
