Qatar Air Force Plane arrives with 70 tons of food aid for the Lebanese Army
A plane from the Qatar Emiri Air Force arrived on Monday at Beirut Rafic Hariri International Airport, carrying 70 tons of food aid.
This makes it the fourth shipment of food aid provided by the State of Qatar to the army in the sisterly Lebanese Republic.
The plane was received by the Chargé d'Affaires at the Embassy of the State of Qatar, Ali Al-Mutawa, First Secretary Nasser Al-Qahtani, and the pilot, Nazih Akiki, representing the Commander of the Lebanese Army, Major General Joseph Aoun.

The State of Qatar had announced last July support to the Lebanese army with 70 tons of food per month for a year, as part of the efforts of the State of Qatar and its firm commitment to support the Lebanese Republic and stand by the brotherly Lebanese people, in addition to its firm belief in the importance and necessity to set in motion joint Arab action.
