Aoun: Geagea should be Noble Peace Laurette

Following the Change and Reform weekly meeting, FPM leader Michel Aoun congratulated the Lebanese Army on its anniversary, wishing the soldiers success in their mission to protect the country.

On the Syrian refugees in Lebanon issue, Aoun said that their status is unsure, stressing that "their number is increasing every day which could pose a great danger if there were militants among them."

Commenting on the Casino Du Liban [CDL] conflict, Aoun affirmed that the file is under discussion, revealing that there are several violations that could threaten the future of the casino.

Aoun also considered “that we are living in times where political speech has reached its lowest levels," urging everyone not to undermine the FPM’s calls for sovereignty, freedom and independence. “It’s enough that they have stolen the slogan from us," he exclaimed.

Finally, he mockingly added that he calls for the nomination of the LF Chief Samir Geagea for the Nobel Peace Prize.
