Haroun to LBCI: Hospital sector is beset by a slew of crises
Head of the Syndicate of Private Hospitals Sleiman Haroun stressed on Wednesday during an interview with Nharkom Said TV show on LBCI that “the average Lebanese citizen can no longer afford to go to the hospital and pay for medicines.”

He mentioned that “some people died in their homes because they were unable to enter the hospital.”

Haroun also explained that “the hospital sector is beset by a slew of crises that have converged on it,” saying “we attempt to pass the time as much as possible, but we cannot pass the time for a year or two years, especially under severe health conditions."

“We need foreign support for hospital sector, as we will not be able to continue without it," he said.
