Sleiman postpones national dialogue session

In light of March14's insistence on boycotting the national dialogue, President Sleiman postponed the talks till the 7th of January 2013.

It is worth mentioning that the national dialogue session was scheduled for the 29th of November under the chairmanship of President Sleiman.

In this context, a statement is expected to be issued after a meeting between President Sleiman and Premiere Najib Mikati.

Sources said to LBCI that March14 forces informed the President of their final decision regarding the dialogue and added that the cabinet's issue will be discussed with President Sleiman and MP Walid Jumblatt.

As for the President, the sources added that the latter knew of March14's position, but left the announcement of postponing dialogue till the "last moment" seemingly since he considers that dialogue is the country's "only way out."
