Council of Ministers issues new decision regarding elections’ cost

According to information obtained by LBCI, the cabinet decided on Tuesday to transfer an appropriation from the budget reserve to the Ministry of Interior, worth 40 billion LBP, to cover the cost of the parliamentary elections.

Furthermore, during the next two days, a bill to open an additional budget appropriation of 320 billion LBP will be referred to the House of Representatives to cover the cost of the elections.
