Citizen escapes attempted robbery, but not 'near death'

Citizen Ibrahim Toufic Sakr (born in 1964 in Kfoun-Jbeil) was rushed on Tuesday morning to Notre-Dame de Secours Hospital in Jbeil after sustaining stab wounds to his neck and right hand.

In details, as he passed in front of Casino Du Liban heading toward Jbeil, 3 unknown persons driving a Kia obstructed his path and stole his ring, watch, 3 credit cards, and an amount of money and then released him in the Nahr al-Kalb region only after stabbing him numerously.

Security forces are investigating the case to identify the assailants.
