Siniora: Mikati's cabinet suggestion is not 'new'

Former PM Fouad Siniora said on Friday that PM Najib Mikati's suggestion to form a new cabinet is not new seemingly since he discussed this issue before.

Siniora added, "PM Mikati is wasting various chances both for himself and for Lebanon in light of a deteriorating economic and financial state."

In a press conference held at his office in Sidon, Siniora said that "it is about time to impose security measures on everyone in Tripoli."

As for the Syrian arrest warrants, Siniora said that they are "worthless legally and politically" and added that this method, which is adopted by the Syrian regime, will not yield any results.
