Speaker Berri meets French ambassador Grillo

Speaker Nabih Berri received on Friday in Ain al-Tineh French Ambassador to Lebanon Anne Grillo where they discussed the general situation and developments in the country and the Lebanese-French relations.

Berri also received representative of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) in Lebanon, EDOUARD BEIGBEDER, on a protocol visit after his appointment as the representative of the organization in Lebanon.

The visit was an occasion in which Berri was briefed on UNICEF's work programs in Lebanon, especially the areas of cooperation with the Lebanese Parliament.

On another note, Berri received Belgian Ambassador Hubert Corman on a farewell visit as his diplomatic missions as his country's ambassador to Lebanon ended.
