President Aoun meets with Caretaker PM Mikati in Baabda

President Michel Aoun received on Wednesday Caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati at the Baabda Presidential Palace.

Talks reportedly tackled the latest developments and the ongoing contacts to form a new Cabinet.

Following the meeting, Mikati left without giving any statement.

President Aoun had received Caretaker Tourism Minister Walid Nassar and was briefed by him on the summer tourism season, especially in terms of the number of Lebanon’s visitors.
Minister Nassar also briefed Aoun on the ministry's plan for the upcoming fall and winter.
