Syrian Ambassador warns Lebanon of taking dubious steps

Syrian Ambassador to Lebanon Ali Abdel Karim Ali said on Friday that Syria's steadfastness will eventually be linked to a Syrian dialogue and pointed out that Russia is supporting this by its efforts with the US administration and by supporting the mission of the UN International Peace Envoy to Syria Lakhdar Brahimi in order to reach a political solution that puts an end to bloodshed, and arming.

In response to a question related to the presence of Free Syrian Army in Lebanon, Ambassador Ali said: "when a reasonable and logical solution is reached, we hope that none of the Lebanese political parties would interfere in the Syrian crisis."

Ambassador Ali hoped that the Lebanese media would safeguard Lebanon's stability and asked for obstructing the transfer of arms to and from Lebanon.

As for the Lebanese detainees in Syria's Aazaz, Ambassador Ali said that those who supported kidnappers, funded, and armed them are responsible for this issue.
