EU delegation says allocated 229 million euros to support necessary reforms, economic development
In a statement titled "The European Union is a Permanent Committed Partner for Lebanon," the European Union Delegation to Lebanon stated on Wednesday that it continues to support Lebanon and its people in challenging social and economic circumstances.

It added that this year it had allocated 229 million euros to support necessary reforms and economic development.

For this new financial package, several objectives have been identified as priorities.

The EU stated that supporting reforms and advancing good governance are the top priorities.

According to the opportunities outlined in the most recent staff-level agreement with the IMF, Lebanon will help implement public administration reforms emphasizing integrity, transparency, and accountability in the context mentioned above.

The assistance will focus on improving public financial management, the civil service, and information access.
