Minister Charbel asks for Qatari assistance to release the Lebanese kidnapped pilgrims

Interior Minister Marwan Charbel and the General Security Chief Abbas Ibrahim headed to Doha to discuss with Qatari officials the issue of the Lebanese kidnapped in Syria's Aazaz.              

Eleven Lebanese pilgrims were kidnapped on their way back from Iran by insurgents hoping to use them for a prisoner swap on the 20th of May 2012. Only two have so far been released.
