General Security issues statement on refugees who violate Lebanon’s residency system

The General Directorate of Lebanese General Security issued a statement regarding the refugees who violate the residency system in Lebanon. 

The statement is as follows: 

First: Syrian nationals and Palestinian refugees in Syria who have violated the residency system in Lebanon can settle their situation at the border departments and centers and leave without issuing entry bans against them - in the event of their return - provided that they pay the full fees due on them. 

Second: Syrians registered as refugees and holders of residency as refugee persons do not benefit from the subject matter of the above clause.

Third: This decision applies until 15/6/2023.
