Major General Ibrahim to head to Qatar on Tuesday

Sources told LBCI on Monday that Major General Abbas Ibrahim will be heading to Qatar on Tuesday to follow up on the case of the Lebanese detainees in Syria’s Aazaz.

Eleven Lebanese pilgrims were kidnapped on their way back from Iran by insurgents hoping to use them for a prisoner swap on the 20th of May. Only two have so far been released.

Separately, Major General Ibrahim met with Speaker Nabih Berri at his residence in Ain el-Tineh.
