El-Kadiri: Cabinet is spreading Syrian policy in Lebanon
MP Ziad El-Kadiri accused Mikati’s cabinet on Saturday of “spreading Syrian policy in Lebanon which is manifested by summoning Lebanese figures and former prime ministers for talks in Damascus.”

El-Kadiri told Voice of Lebanon that “the cabinet has renounced its sovereign functions in favor of the mini-state and has also given up its decision in favor of what is on the other side of the border”, holding PM Najib Mikati’s accountable for isolating the Sunnis in Lebanon and annexing them to Hezbollah.

El-Kadiri confirmed that “Mikati would not have abstained from voting at the U.N. Security Council against Syria should Syrian President Bashar Assad given him consent in advance.”

In reference to information revealed by LAF Commander Jean Kahwaji underlining arms shipment from Lebanon into Syria; El-Kadiri dismissed any political implications, adding that Hezbollah “masters the arms trade.”
