Ongoing rescue efforts by Civil Defense following Mansourieh building collapse: Here are the updates

Lebanese Civil Defense announced that personnel have retrieved the body of a citizen from under the rubble of the building that collapsed on Monday in the Mansourieh area, bringing the total number of casualties to three.

The operation was carried out under the guidance of the Director General of Civil Defense Raymond Khattar, who accompanied the team to where the body was found to oversee the details.

Civil Defense teams, trained in executing search and rescue operations, continue to carry out their assigned tasks since 1:45 p.m. Monday.

Civil Defense teams had previously succeeded in rescuing four survivors from under the rubble and retrieving two bodies Monday night, bringing the number of missing individuals to five.
