Hezbollah's Sheikh Nabil Kaouk affirms: Our mission is to protect Lebanon, not reassure Israel

Sheikh Nabil Kaouk, a Hezbollah's Central Council member, expressed the view that the party works to protect the country and not to reassure Israel.

During the commemorative celebration organized by the party, he stated, "Foreign delegations coming to Lebanon are only here to promote Israeli demands and seek guarantees for Israel."

He added, "Israel failed to emerge from the depths of defeat and change the course of the war despite all the US support, massacres, and starvation."

He pointed out that the root cause of wars in the region is Israel, which was planted by Britain, protected, supported, and financed by the United States, responsible for this suffering and tension.

He considered Iran to be a strong, primary, and strategic support for all resistance factions in the region. 

According to him, this has changed the equations and brought the Israeli project to a dead-end, pushing the nation to move beyond the era of defeats to create a future of victories.
