Amal Movement: Rejection of dictation and fire pressures in shaping political realities

The Amal Movement affirmed that "all the resistance will meet any attempt to attack Lebanese territories with the same determination and steadfastness that the occupation faced in the south in the past years."

The movement emphasized in a statement that "policies of dictation and pressure by fire will not succeed in imposing political realities regarding our homeland Lebanon, neither on the borders nor internally." 

It asserted that "the Lebanese stance is clear and evident in restraining Zionist aggression, forcing the enemy to withdraw from all our occupied territories unconditionally, obliging it to implement Resolution 1701 effectively and seriously, and keeping internal Lebanese issues as Lebanese matters to be addressed through dialogue among the Lebanese."

In addition, the movement called upon those exerting effort for political solutions "to work on halting the ongoing genocide and war crimes against the people of Gaza, aimed at breaking their resilience and legendary resistance, which exposed the failure of the Israeli war machine, based on its criminality, and its reliance on international and regional complicity and the shameful silence that will not be adorned by scenes of ostentatious airdrops of food crumbs for the hungry."
