Rai to meet with Patriarch Kirill I of Moscow

Maronite Patriarch Cardinal Mar Beshara Boutros Rai who arrived in Moscow on Tuesday continued his visit to Russia and is expected to meet with Patriarch Kirill I of Moscow and All Russia.

During Rai’s stay, both Orthodox and Maronite Churches celebrated the holiday of St. Maroun.

On this occasion, the papal ambassador to Russia handed Patriarch Rai a fragment of the holy relics of St. Maroun.

The relics will remain in St. Maroun’s Cathedral in Moscow.
