Bishop Aoude meets with delegation of Christian officials

Bishop of the Greek Orthodox Church for the Archdiocese of Beirut Elias Aoude met on Friday with a delegation of independent Christian officials and deputies and discussed with them issues pertaining to the electoral law.

In this context, the delegation expressed their rejection to the Orthodox Gathering’s electoral law since “it threatens the Christian representation in Lebanon”.

The delegation added that they will keep on exerting efforts in order to reach common grounds in regards to the electoral law.
